Welcome to Rooted Yoga & Rooted Yoga Poughkeepsie! By purchasing classes, memberships, workshops, events, retail products, or using our website, booking systems, or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by Rooted Yoga (“Rooted Yoga,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as our Waiver and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old to create an account or participate independently unless consent is provided by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Health and Personal Responsibility

By participating in classes, workshops, events, or other offerings, you acknowledge that:

• Participation is voluntary and at your own risk 
• You are responsible for monitoring your own physical condition 
• You should consult a healthcare provider prior to participation if you have any medical concerns 
• You understand that yoga, fitness, and heated classes involve physical activity and inherent risks 

Participation in any class or service constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these risks.

4. Class Reservations and Attendance

Advance booking may be required for classes, workshops, or events. Rooted Yoga reserves the right to:

• Limit class sizes 
• Refuse entry to late arrivals when necessary for safety or class flow 
• Cancel or substitute instructors, classes, or schedules at any time 

5. Cancellation and No Show Policy

By reserving a class, you agree to the following policies:

• A $10 late cancellation fee may be charged if a reserved class is canceled within the designated cancellation window 
• A $10 no show fee may be charged if you fail to attend a reserved class without canceling in advance 

Workshops, trainings, retreats, and special events may have separate cancellation policies, which will be provided at the time of registration.

6. Memberships and Class Packages

All memberships and class packages are:

• Non-transferable 
• Non-refundable unless otherwise required by law 
• Subject to expiration dates stated at purchase 

Rooted Yoga reserves the right to modify pricing, membership structures, class schedules, and package offerings at any time.

Autopay memberships may continue until canceled in accordance with the membership agreement.

7. Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking or purchase unless otherwise specified.

By providing payment information, you authorize Rooted Yoga and its payment processors to charge applicable fees associated with your purchases, memberships, late cancels, or no shows.

8. Workshops, Trainings, and Retreats

Deposits and payments for workshops, trainings, retreats, and special events may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Rooted Yoga reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify events when necessary.

9. Studio Etiquette

To maintain a respectful environment, clients agree to:

• Treat staff, instructors, and fellow students respectfully 
• Follow studio guidelines and instructor directions 
• Refrain from disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior 

Rooted Yoga reserves the right to refuse service or terminate participation at its discretion.

10. Personal Property

Rooted Yoga is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

11. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Rooted Yoga, including logos, branding, class concepts, videos, photos, written materials, and digital content, is the property of Rooted Yoga and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

12. Photography and Media

By entering the studio or participating in events, you acknowledge that photos or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in media content, please notify staff in advance.

13. Virtual and Online Services

For online classes or digital content:

• Participation is at your own risk 
• You are responsible for creating a safe practice environment 
• Access to digital content may not be shared, copied, or redistributed 

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rooted Yoga and its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in our services or use of our facilities, website, or digital content.

15. Privacy

Use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of New York.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

17. Changes to Terms

Rooted Yoga reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
